Sansibar, LUXE, Lisene

For our final November event at XOYO, we’re joined by the in-demand Sanisbar. 

The Helsinki-based DJ, producer and label owner can’t be pigeonholed, moving between electro, techno, breakbeat, jungle and more. With a commitment to innovative and futuristic sounds, Sansibar will be bringing the freshest selections from all over Europe, this promises to be a masterclass in layered and measured rhythm. 
 
Releasing on labels like Kalahari Oyster Cult, Natural Sciences and Darknet, the Finnish producer's music “harnesses hi-impact programming and psychoactive flights, spacious divagations and oblique riff fractals, drum-charged salvos and ample weatherbeaten tapestries”.

On support duties, we have Lisene, the Leeds-based DJ and producer known for dancing around the psychedelic fringes of techno, trance, breaks and electro, creating a web of sonic frequencies you won’t want to escape. With huge releases, both as a solo act and as Space Cadets (alongside Adam Pits), Lisene’s mix of original productions and high-quality obscurities promises to bring a night of expertly crafted rhythm and groove.
